The ideal patient to be a candidate for a respiratory rehabilitation program is the one who has developed over time a reduced tolerance to effort and/or who accuses respiratory problems.

Respiratory physiotherapy is considered a non-pharmacological therapeutic intervention with proven efficacy in the treatment of:

• Chronic diseases impacting the cardio respiratory system (COPD, asthma, cystic fibrosis, heart failure)

• Neuromuscular diseases (respiratory muscles are compromised)

• Acute processes (pneumonia, lung abscess) or highly complex surgical operations (lung, heart and liver transplants as well as other cardiac or thoracic operations).

• Sleep disturbances (OSAS etc..).
